The knight of pentacles is the card for when air meets the earth. The image typically has a person on horseback holding a pentacle. The pentacles is in the main focus of the rider, rather than it’s surroundings. This is not a knight of action, but of slowness or stillness.
I suggest, while looking at this card description, you have your tarot deck in front of you and decide for yourself if you agree with the feelings on this page or if the card represents something entirely different to you.

A few words to describe the card:
stopped with indecision, must make a decision, focusing on one thing
Knight of Pentacles
The knight of pentacles is the card when air meets earth. The suit of pentacles typically represents earth, and the knight cards represent air and movement. Although, this particular knight represents lack of movement, and stagnation. Of holding on too tightly to the earth representation, or wealth, or lack of wealth that they are paralyzed by indecision. The focus on this card is the pentacle being held by the knight while on horseback. All of the attention is on the pentacle, not on the surroundings.
When you see this card in a reading, the card is a nudge to remind you that if you don’t make a decision soon, nothing will change and you’ll lose all options. Although this knight may be unable to make a decision about aspects relating to themselves, they will be there to help someone close to them if need be. This person is a rock, willing to help with whatever task is at hand.
Depending on where you see the knight of pentacles in a tarot card reading, this could be a reflection on yourself or someone that you see in your life. Someone may be willing to help you and defend you, if you only ask. Or it may be this card is telling you to take a look at your finances. Either you are holding on too tightly to your wealth, or need to look for new ways to earn money to not feel completely strapped.
Still confused about the meanings of the cards? A few tools that have been really helpful for me have been: practice, taking the time to look at each card, read books like Tarot: Learn How to Read and Interpret the Cards by Kim Arnold. Or try out tarot spreads! Try doing a simple reading every day. The Labyrinthos app is really helpful too. Or try some that I’ve created by looking here: Tarot Spreads.
