Most of the time, I suggest picking a pendulum based on how you feel about it in a shop (read about how to pick a pendulum like that here), but sometimes it’s better to have an idea of the crystals you’re looking at before purchasing.
Whether you’re a beginner or just looking to add another one to your collection, these are some of the most common crystal pendulum options, that I also really like!

Top Crystal Pendulum Choices
The crystal pendulum types I’ll be talking about today are: rose quartz, clear quartz, amethyst, angelite, tiger’s eye, and while not technically a single crystal, chakra pendulums.
Rose Quartz Pendulum
Rose quartz was actually my first pendulum, and the one I still use the most to this day. Rose quartz is a great pendulum crystal to have because it’s a gentle crystal.
This is not one that will be difficult to use, and as rose quartz is known for energies relating to love, it’s great to use. All of these energies of love can work with you to help work healing old wounds, and help you learn to love yourself more.
This can create a strong bond between you and the pendulum.
Whether looking for your first or fifth pendulum, having one made with rose quartz is a great one to have, especially if you’re trying to work on self love or healing traumas.
Clear Quartz Pendulum
The clear quartz pendulum is a classic one to have. These are great for seeing through all of the minor things happening to cut to the main point.
With a clear quartz pendulum, you’ll be able to see problems clearly and work through them quickly. This is a great pendulum crystal to have for asking just about any question, where it’ll be able to give you the answers you’re looking for quickly and efficiently.
That’s why having a clear quartz pendulum is a great one to have on hand, and will be one you’re reaching to often to use.
Amethyst Pendulum
Amethyst is another great pendulum for people who are just starting out to working with pendulums, or just want something with a calming presence.
An amethyst pendulum will have similar properties to the rose quartz, but even warmer vibes with it. This is one that will be very gentle when you need it to be, but also help with connecting you to your spirit.
As amethyst is connected to the crown chakra, this pendulum choice will be a great one for connecting to yourself and your higher self.
Angelite Pendulum
Angelite is another really popular crystal pendulum, and it’s no wonder! Angelite is a great light blue crystal that has so many properties that you would want in a pendulum!
It’s a version of celestine that’s been compressed over time, and these crystals are both amazing for divination.
As a crystal, angelite is known for almost exactly what it sounds like. It’s for connecting you to a higher level, and working with your angels/spiritual guides. This is one to work with your higher self, and get as much guidance as you possibly can from a pendulum.
If you’re trying to do more connection and spiritual work with a pendulum, an angelite pendulum is the perfect choice.
Tiger’s Eye Pendulum
Tiger’s Eye is another great choice for a pendulum crystal to use. Tiger’s eye is a beautiful brown crystal that is known for it’s help with inner strength and finding your own peace.
This is a great pendulum if you’re wanting to work on self worth, or really focusing on healing yourself.

Chakra Pendulum
While not technically a crystal pendulum because often it’s multiple crystals or made of resin, a chakra pendulum needs to be included on this list.
There are a few different kinds of chakra pendulums, but the ones I want to mention are the ones that have all of the chakra colors associated with it.
These are a great choice if you’re really focusing your work on chakra healing or dealing with chakras.
Keep in mind that if you do go shopping in person, a different crystal might completely catch your eye. And that’s perfectly fine! One of my favorite pendulums is a homemade hematite pendulum.
